It is believed that this ceremony helps reduce the impact of evil spirits and raise the level of surrounding energy. Thus, this ceremony is performed on an auspicious day. The date is calculated by the Hindu priests or astrologers on the basis of ‘Panchanga’. According to ‘Vastu Shastra’ experts, the walls must be fully painted with the ready ceiling and well-fitted doors, windows and other home fixtures. That is to say, only when your apartments are completely done up, you should perform this ceremony. Please keep in mind some believe that homeowners need to spend 3 consecutive nights in the new flats after the performance of the religious ceremony.
